This hunting lease is leased and not available. Base Camp Leasing has a 406 acre hunting lease available for immediate lease in Livingston County, New York. This hunting lease is located in WMU (9P) and close to Dalton. The property consists of about 260 acres of woods and 146 acres of working crop fields. The landowner will provide 8 nuisance DMP tags- as long as the DEC approves his request (has got them in past several years, no problem). This is a huge property that runs north and south. There are several working crop fields. This property will hunt big-there are many established trails in the woods and through the crop fields (do not drive on the crops). There are scattered apple, beech, hickory and oak on the property. The lease borders state forest in the SE corner. There is a good size pond up front stocked with bass (landowner said ok to fish). I saw plenty of rubs and trails on my inspection (see pics). Landowner stated he sees deer and turkey daily on this farm. He also stated previous hunters had no issues filling their deer tags and harvesting turkey! ATV use and camping are allowed for hunting purposes only. Camper must be removed at end of hunting season and you will need to get with landowner for parking spot. Keeping trails clean in the woods is also allowed. Nice looking property with several crop fields that will draw the deer. Livingston County is a hot spot for big bucks!
